Part of the program will be educational.  Anyone wishing to participate in the depression support group is encouraged to attend....it is an open group.  That is, participants may enter or leave the group as desired.  We recommend that depression sufferers consult a physician regarding the appropriate medications and treatment needed.  The depression support group meets on Wednesdays at 4:00 pm at CrossRoads, 700 Quik Trip Way.  There is no charge, and one is not required to attend CrossRoads.  Please call 816-331-5258 for further information.

Grief Support Group

CrossRoads UMC is offering a Grief Support Group to all who have suffered a loss.  Grief is a process, or journey, leading to growth, acceptance, and wellness. Our group will assist you in making that journey.  Members reach out to each other, and help each other as they travel.  You need not carry your burden alone, nor should others.  Also, learn what the altest research tells us about successful ways of handling grief.  Please join us on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm, at CrossRoads, 700 Quik Trip Way, Belton, MO.  Gibson Pearis, and experienced grief counselor, will lead the group.  Anyone desiring to participate in the grief support group is encouraged to attend.  There is no charge, and church membership is not a requirement.  It is an open group, that is, participants may enter or leave the group as they desire.  Contact CrossRoads at 816-331-5258 for further information.
